Dorcas Ministries

The Dorcas ministry was started in 2008 with the sole purpose of extending discipleship and caring services to needy girls within the AMG centers. It is about mentoring them to be focused in school and teaching them to love God, meeting some of their personal and educational needs.

Dorcus ministry does mentorship for girls and young ladies across the different AMG projects. We also help mothers and families. Through this ministry, lives have been transformed with over 450 girls taken care of and discipled. 

The ministry lies in the hands of the female workers of the Organization basically concerned with teaching the word of God to the AMG Sponsored girls specifically citing their values in life.

Through this ministry, girls are taught Christian, social and moral values that help them in day to day life bearing in mind that the majority of them are teenagers and are therefore very vulnerable, given the complacent society in which we live.

Much appreciation goes to the AMG female staff who embraced the vision and carried on this ministry wholeheartedly to this very day.
