According to CNBCA Africa\, the report notes that there were 485 deals v alued at USD 19\,420 million in the first half of 2017\, this dropped to 2 70 deals valued at USD 8\,318 million in H1 2018. On a positive note\, int raregional cross-border deals rose twofold in terms of aggregate value fro m USD 418 million in the first half of 2017 to USD 1\,292 million in H1 20 18. They further noted that Africa is a continent with 54 different countr ies\, all with different economies and so it is difficult to pin down spec ifically what has caused the downturn in M&\;A activity in the first ha lf of the year.\n\nWith the decreasing number of M&\;A activities in Af rica\, it is our effort as Bwire\, Kalinaki &\; Co.
