Nehemiah Ministry
Nehemiah is one of the ministries under AMG International-Uganda with our grand aim to raise Men with a purpose in life. This is there to help all the boys in all our AMG Centers across the country in all aspects, say Physical, Social, and more especially Spiritual life.
Nehemiah is a boys’ Ministry under AMG International Uganda that focuses on addressing the holistic nurture and growth needs of all the boys and the Alumni under AMG Uganda. The ministry was pioneered and is managed by AMG- Uganda male staff through an eight strong management committee. Right from the story of creation in Genesis 2:4 -25, God’s eternal design is that a mature man remains a leader wherever he is irrespective of his social and economic status .
That is why Nehemiah Ministry’s discipleship programs are equally extended to the male parents and guardians of the boy children and youths under AMG sponsorship program.
We believe that when men, as leaders, are spiritually stable, the ripple effect of their Christian lifestyle will greatly be felt and socially be experienced as a stabilizing factor in families, churches/society and the nation. The Ministry’s Vision is “Men who
are holistically competent for every good work” derived from 2Timothy 2:15 and the Mission is “Nurturing men through spiritual, educational, economic, and social–emotional
aspects for a balanced growth”.
Current Level of membership Current children/youth membership is 587 of which 113 are the alumni. The parents/guardian population is about 351. Our current ministry activities include sponsorship – of at least one boy child starting with September 2016, Bible study, evangelism,discipleship/ Youth conferences/mentoring. We appreciate all sponsors who have supported the ministry through prayer and other provisions.
