Upendo Medical Center is located in Kamwokya, Kampala in a slum area with a
motto “MAN TRATS BUT GO HEALS.” The facility was founded in direct response to
an identified need among AMG-Uganda families in Kampala, Naguru, and
Kamwokya for accessiblee and quality healthcare initially established to serve the
children of AMG staff and students at Upendo Christian School.
Over three years, the Center has grown significantly from a small single-inpatient
premise to a larger, better-equipped facility. What began as an AMG community
service has since expanded to welcome the wider Kamwokya community,
responding to the growing local demand for professional, quality healthcare.
The Center currently offers the following services to patients:
Outpatient Services: Consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all
ages.
Inpatient Services: Admission and round-the-clock care for patients requiring
extended treatment.
Laboratory Services: On-site diagnostic testing to support accurate and timely
medical decisions.
