Bugongi College Second Graduation

Graduation time is always so special to us as the AMG community as it is a testament to God’s faithfulness and providence . On Tuesday 30th April ,we witnessed the class of 2021 sign off in power as 137 students graduated with certificate in nursing and certificate in midwifery.

This was BCNM’S 2nd graduation ceremony. The event was a grand celebration of the achievements of the graduating students and we are gladly to share the details of the time , attendance ,composition ,speeches and overall atmosphere of the event .

The graduation ceremony started a 7:30 and concluded at 4pm. the scheduled duration of the graduation was 8 hors allowing for an efficient program while ensuring a memorable experience for the attendees.

With a total of 137 graduates, their families friends and faculty members , guests and college staff members .
Out of 137 graduates, there was 63 students from set 3 and 73 from set 4. From set 3 ,39 graduating in certificate for nursing, and 24 graduating in Certificate for midwifery, from set 4, 49 graduating in certificate for nursing and 24 graduating in Certificate for midwifery.

The event featured several notable speeches delivered by different individuals.
The college principal, Rosbell Kwesiga, opened with an inspiring welcome address to the chief guests, the president of AMG international Mr. Tasos Ioannidis, the director AMG International Dr. Rueben Musiime, the students, the parents and the staff.
She encouraged the graduates to dream for bigger accomplishments. “the day you dreamt of becoming a nurse is the day your dream started.” Thanked the graduates for persevering and choosing to be medical officials which is a pride to not only Bugongi as a county but to the country at large.
The principal asked the graduates to serve at both the national and international level an emphasized the importance of soft work in action for the nurses and midwives.

She applauded the parents for sacrificing to educate their children and prayed for them blessings and long lives to see their children prosper in life.
Further more she commented on the infrastructure development and academic excellence of the college in the national examinations for nurses and midwifery. “we have a state of art a far as the skills lab and library is concerned, for the Uganda Nurses Examination board we have scored 98%-100% which is measured on competency.”

The director AMG international Uganda Dr. Reuben Musiime, first he introduced the newest project in northern Uganda. He honored and thanked God for the day He has made, thanked the guests present ,students and the staff and extremely thanked the organizing committee.
He reminisced about the college’s journey and its achievement of the diploma level added to the certificate level.
Dr. admonished caution to the nurses and midwives to believe in God first to heal then healing shall come thee. “man, treats but God heals.”
Advised the graduates about putting together the head, the heart and the hands in everything they decide to do and this will surely lead to success.

The school representative, joined AMG in 2008 when the family had broken up and he stayed with his mother is Iganga .
The alumnus poured his heart out genuinely to AMG for the support and believing in him. “not only was i educated but my medical insurance was there.” He congratulated his fellows and prayed for a blessings to them all.


The atmosphere at the graduation ceremony was brilliant and hedonistic. the venue was decorated with college banners and the green environment gave it a soulful moment . the joy and happiness of the graduates and their beloved ones was incomparable, tears of b joy filled the air.
In Conclusion,
The graduation was a successful event. We extend our sincere congratulations to the graduates and express our gratitude to AMG international for supporting and educating the children in Uganda.
