Celebrating 30 Years of God’s Faithfulness
“The Lord has done great things for us.” Psalm 126:3
On Friday, 28th August 2026, AMG Uganda came together in a joyful and memorable celebration to mark 30 years of God’s faithfulness, grace, and great works.
With close to 1,000 people in attendance, the celebration was a truly remarkable occasion filled with thanksgiving, worship, fellowship, reflection, and joy. It was such a fantastic day as staff, partners, friends, supporters, alumni, children and members of the wider AMG family gathered to celebrate a journey that has touched and transformed many lives.
The celebration was honoured by the presence of representatives from AMG International in the United States of America, Woord en Daad, government officials, representatives from AMG Uganda’s 16 areas of operation, partner churches, sister organizations, and members of the surrounding communities. Their presence made the occasion even more special and reflected the broad network of relationships that has supported and strengthened AMG Uganda’s work over the past 30 years.
Our theme, “The Lord has done great things for us,” captured the heart of the day. As we looked back over the past three decades, we were reminded that our story is ultimately a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Through every season, challenge, opportunity, and milestone, the Lord has continued to lead, sustain, and bless the work of AMG Uganda.
The celebration provided an opportunity to honour the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future. We reflected with gratitude on the many people and organizations that have contributed to the AMG journey over the years and celebrated the lives impacted through the ministry.
The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with excitement and gratitude. From heartfelt moments of worship and thanksgiving to joyful fellowship and celebration, it was a day that will remain a special part of AMG Uganda’s history.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and to all those who have supported, served, prayed for, and partnered with AMG Uganda throughout these 30 years. You are part of this story.
As we step into the next chapter, we do so with confidence and hope, knowing that the same God who has faithfully carried us through the past 30 years will continue to guide us into the future. Indeed, the Lord has done great things for us—and we are glad
